My client is looking for an exceptional Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their London office.

Duties will include leading project surveys, design, specifications, on-site supervision and management of mechanical services installations under guidance from a Principal Engineer. Working closely with other team members, you will see projects through from inception to completion and handover.

Skills and Qualities

The role involves confidence in the design of mechanical services in buildings, efficient at AutoCAD and other design software. Management of feasibility studies, project design and contract administration. In order to be successful, you should be able to demonstrate that you have:

• A degree in a relevant subject
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience of building services design
• Experience of managing/mentoring junior team members
• Able to demonstrate a good range of project experience across different sectors
• Revit experience necessary
• Excellent communication skills
• Be a competent MS Word and Excel user
• Accurate, good organisational and prioritisation skills

The successful candidate will also need to have their own transport and driving license.

The role involves the use of Revit, AutoCAD, SAP and other design modelling software. Working knowledge of MS Office is also preferred. Previous experience of these or similar packages is useful however full training will be provided.
